The world's first hot sauce combining the flavors of habanero and mint, the "Mellow Habanero Super MINT"
I have achieved a perfect balance of cooling sensation and aroma by blending peppermint and spearmint. To enhance the refreshing and crisp experience, I have replaced rice vinegar with white wine vinegar. The richness of our signature "ice-brewed pure rice vinegar" (made from 100% domestically grown rice, fermented slowly under low temperatures to develop a deep umami flavor) used in all other Mellow Habanero sauces was overpowering. Now, our Super MINT sauce delivers a swift and invigorating heat, thanks to a brilliant revelation in the latter stages of development, resulting in an exceptionally delicious product.
As always, I enjoyed working on the label design. I am delighted with how it turned out! Although the bottle ended up being the same as usual, I initially planned to use a different colored brown bottle with the same shape. However, once the labels were printed and applied, I found that the clear bottle looked adorable. The color of the sauce and the label harmonize perfectly. It would be a waste to conceal the sauce's color with a brown bottle. So, I decided to save the brown bottle idea for another occasion.
Now, let's talk about the important part: how to use it in cooking. Mint is not commonly used by many people in their dishes, myself included. I've created a new sauce. What should I put it on? The first thing that came to mind was Genovese sauce. Basil and mint seemed like a natural pairing, and as expected, it turned out to be incredibly delicious. Basil, garlic, olive oil, pine nuts, Parmigiano-Reggiano, thin pasta and Super MINT—a combination that leaves me craving for more.
In terms of spiciness, "Mellow Habanero Super MINT" falls between our "Extra" and "Heaven" products. It offers a user-friendly level of heat. If you're a fan of spiciness, about 15 drops per serving of pasta should do. And please don't mix it in; savor the refreshing sensation directly. Cool and Heat!
It also pairs well with plain omelets. It complements ketchup perfectly too. You can enjoy it with tomato sauce, chicken saute, meat dishes, salads, and more. I'm still exploring various ways to enjoy Super MINT every day. I encourage all of you to be adventurous and discover your own favorite uses for it. If you could also leave a product review, I would be truly grateful.
